If times not a matter why is it a matter of time
They say oppinions are like assholes, what of an assholes oppinion
My opinion is assholes should have a bashfull dominion
They say money dont grow on trees yet it's the root of evil
They say it will never buy you happiness or suit the people
One mans trash is anothers treasure but we treasure the trash
How come your class in this world is always measured by cash
They say what goes up must come down, Im down with comin up
don't cry for spilt milk even if you were houndin for the cup
They say an eye for an eye then turn the cheek instead of battle
How come what floats your boat can leave you up shit creek without a paddle
They say cowards die 1,000 deaths but live to fight another day
I couldn't live being a coward I say find another way

That have lost meaning over time nothin but fading cliches

They say it's love at first sight, then they say love is blind
Is it kind ones girls seek or just the one of a kind
They say you cant make an omelette without breaking some eggs
Or put on a good show without breaking your leg
They say you can't walk in my shoes you couldn't bear it
Then tell you a second later if the shoe fits then wear it
They say live life by the moment, any moment can be your last
And since lifes like one long moment theres no roamin in the past
They say you cant look back, when you pass through your light
Then ask if you have regrets when you look back on your life
They say never cry wolf, thats not what Im about
So society remains sheepish to wolves who are crying out
So from lettin cats outta bags and being rained on by dogs
Quiet as mice, and blind as bats, so our brains are in a fog
