What should I do if someone on CrushSpot is using my photos?

If you have found that someone is using your photos and either impersonating you fully (using your identity as well as your photos) or merely misrepresenting themselves, be prepared to provide a "proof pic".

A proof pic involves the process of taking a picture of yourself holding up a handwritten sign to prove that you are the individual in the photographs. Please make sure your hand/fingers holding the sign are visible.

If you are not a member of this website, your sign should say "I am not a member of CrushSpot". Currently there is not a report function on profiles, so it's requested that you send an e-mail to fern@crushspot.com. Attach to the message your proof sign, and inside the body of your e-mail please include the URL of the user stealing your pictures (i.e. www.crushspot.com/[username] ). Please make sure to subject the e-mail "CrushSpot Fake Profile Alert" to ensure your e-mail gets the attention it deserves. You may not receive a reply to your e-mail and it may take days before the account gets deleted.

If you are a member of this website, your sign should say "[username] @ CrushSpot" replacing [username] with your account screenname. You may then contact me or an administrator via notes including links to the fake accounts. Please post the URL of your proof pic (i.e. http://i52.photobucket.com/account/folder/proofpic.jpg ) into the message.
